Good evening Sherry.
I wanted to touch base with you and let you know that we finally named purple girl last night and her name will be
MAGGIE. I didn't want to write you until it actually given her name… Ha ha. Maggie is doing great and is very sweet. She's doing awesome with sleeping through the night and toileting outside. Oscar is starting to play with her… Not ready to show her affection but it seems that he's finally understanding that she is here to stay. Last night they ran around chasing each other and wrestling for about an hour. We will keep you updated on her and her milestones. Thank you for giving us such a sweet blessing in our family.

Hi, Sherry,

It was so great to see you and to visit your wonderful facility.

My little MOXIE (Red girl) is a joy!  She made the four-hour ride home beautifully in the crate (she only complained for 11 minutes right at the beginning, and then she decided she was alright and could go to sleep).  Once home, I'm amazed at how easily she took to the house and the garden.

Our trip to the vet was also great.  Our vet pronounced her "perfect," and she complimented the wonderful job you do with your puppies.

Thanks again.  Moxie and I are already a great team.

She is being a sweetie wheatie! Thank you! I think she's grown a bit since Sunday when we got her. 😀 She's watching an Iowa Hawkeye game.

Sherry-
Today Godiva watched the garbage trucks pull up and were noisy, met McGee, our Kerry Blue Terrier neighbor (with Luke holding Godiva and neighbor, Kathy, holding McGee on leash) and they sniffed, went to Caribou Coffee and sat outside and lawn mowing was going and people inside were looking out the window and pointing at her smiling, so I took her to the window and they laughed, got to meet & lick the UPS driver and I asked him to make his truck noisy and he did, ran up the 4 steps from the garage to the mudroom and went down 2 steps then rolled off. We’re starting on day kenneling and Godiva howled/yipped for a looonng time, even though she had some chew toys, while I took a shower.  I didn’t take her out until she got quiet. (That one was hard.hard. but necessary-I needed a shower and the guys were gone!)  A few hours later, kenneled her again to eat  dinner, she howled a little and Luke went to her kennel and said, “No” and left. When she stopped, was rewarded with a happy “Good girl!” right away.   Oh, we’re also working on saying her name a lot to her. Don’t think she gives a rip about it yet.

Right now, she’s a good tired puppy on Luke’s lap.  So many changes for her, but she is a happy sweet girl.
We feel blessed to have her.  Thank You!

Good evening, Sherry & Steve-
We FINALLY have a name for our Light Pink Girl!  It was after I had emailed you and I started thinking harder about what else is there that is kind of high-end. Of course, my mind went to chocolate…and
GODIVA popped in my brain.  There was a song called "Lady Godiva" with her long blonde hair and Wheatens do have blondish hair.  Also, when you look at the spelling, it has "Go Diva" in it..and that sealed the deal. I thought it was a way to honor our previous Diva but also gives Light Pink Girl her own name because it’s pronounced differently. Besides, Godiva is really great chocolate and our Godiva is really great too.

We took Godiva to the vet today and Dr. Cotten said she was “Perfect.”

Derrick stopped over and took a few pictures of Godiva that I thought you might like and Luke took the video of her trying to figure out what to do with a pine tree branch that we have on the end of our garage. She also climbed the 2 steps up to our front door, likes the rocks we have for landscaping, chased down an ant, listened and watched Derrick leave on his Harley (with sounds) and didn’t flinch, kind of looked at the vacuum cleaner when I turned it on and moved it just a little, but she didn’t act like it was a big deal and has lots of new toys from our neighbors to play with. They all think she is absolutely adorable.

Good to hear from you and take care of yourself!
Hugs,
The Shellers

Dear Sherry-

Thought I’d send you some pictures of our 1st Road Trip with our cute adorable puppy, Light Pink Girl.  She was a trooper through the whole long and tiresome 350 miles with 4 sudden hard rain events and 2 rainbows.
We didn’t see a shy bone in her body at all when we walked in the house. She played with Dean & Luke and managed to chew Luke’s hair, bite Dean’s ear, played tug of war with the toy you sent along (Thank You), had many Wheaten moments of running around in our Great Room, and we think we got 3,000 kisses. 💕  Light Pink Girl passed out by the sofa, moved to under the coffee table, and is in Dean’s arms right now.

Thank you again for letting us have this sweet dolly picked just for us.  The house feels joy again.
Love,
Linda, Dean, Lucas, and Light Pink Girl

Hi Sherry! Here is a pic of PAISLEY from today, chewing on one of her bones. We are in love, she's a sweetheart. She takes turns sleeping with my husband and I or one of our teenage daughters. Thank you!!

Hi Sherry,

FERRIS is growing so big and learning so much!  Here's photo from his first day with us in August followed by a photo from this week. He's a pretty happy guy, and he's tipping the scales at over 11 pounds.  Our neighborhood loves him!  He's made some other human and canine friends, and a lady actually pulled over her car to tell us how cute she thought he is. He seems to make everyone happy!
He's working on sleeping through the night, but the house training has gone pretty well, and we're learning each others' signals.  He loves being outside as much as possible, yet he likes his house [crate] too.  We start puppy kindergarten on Wednesday. I'll let you know if he makes the honor roll. :)

Thank you so much for such a happy, healthy guy.  We're so thankful he's a part of our family!
