UNDERDOG!!

Thank you Jerry for introducing us to the most wonderful breed ~ Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. We can't imagine not having them in our lives. This is our way of keeping you in our lives. We miss you, we'll see you again on the other side.

Jerry Jobe

We first met Jerry Jobe, owner of By-Jobe Kennel, longtime breeder of Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, when we adopted our first Wheaten Terrier from him many years ago. Since then, we developed a very close and dear friendship. I also set up, designed and managed his website ByJobe.com for over 9 years, up until the time of his passing December 28, 2009.

He took great pleasure for a great number of years in the breeding of his dogs and horses and watching them go on to enrich the lives of so many families. He touched many lives with his dogs and he loved getting emails, phone calls, letters and photos from the people who "adopted" his "kids". I saw the joy it brought to him when he would fondly talk of the calls or would forward the emails and pictures he'd received from the loving families of the puppies he raised. The Wheatens have also brought such joy to our lives, we wanted to raise a few puppies and help others experience the personality that is totally, uniquely Wheaten.

Jerry raised beautiful, healthy, high quality dogs. We wanted to keep his memory alive and honor him and the dogs he loved so much by helping the By-Jobe legacy live on with his By-Jobe bloodlines being the foundation of our program. We are starting our program from a single female of his and her daughter from the last litter he bred.
